Adrians is an independent record store in Wickford, Essex. Starting in 1969 we began trading in vinyl records at various markets around Essex, then at premises in the Wickford Market Hall. Soon after, with the business growing rapidly, Adrians moved into larger premises in Wickford High Street, later knocking through into the empty store next door, and we are still trading from part of that double building to this day, having been in the late 1980s the largest independent record store in the UK. Adrians opened the first ever UK "Videos To Buy" store in the late 80s and went on to win 9 National Industry Awards over the next 10 years.

From the earliest days of the 1970s Adrians has also run a specialist mail order service, shipping records to most countries worldwide. We currently run an online store alongside our Amazon Marketplace and Ebay stores.

Over the years we have played host to many special guests from Donny Osmond and Chas 'n' Dave to Alvin Stardust and McFly. McFly brought over 4000 fans to Wickford High Street which the police had to close!

Each year we are an integral part of Record Store Day for which many artists release special limited edition records for fans and collectors to enjoy. We are also long-standing members of the Entertainment Retailers' Association (ERA).

We are regularly adding new titles for collectors from our extensive warehouse stock

which cover many genres and formats. These are unplayed records which have been stored since the day they were delivered to us by the many record labels with whom we dealt all those decades ago. Many of these items in this unplayed condition cannot be obtained elsewhere.
